Two spacious, well equipped self-catering holiday cottages on a non-working farm just on the border of Exmoor National Park. Offers lovely views into the unspoilt countryside 4 miles from Dulverton, just on the Devon/Somerset border. Ideal for walking, bird-watching, cycling, riding and fishing as well as offering many family attractions within easy reach. Pets welcome. Large secluded garden and private parking with each holiday cottage. The beautiful cottages have many interesting features and offer you a very comfortable if not luxurious base for your stay. The setting within 180 acres of fields with traditional hedges adds to their charm. Imagine having an al fresco dinner on the decking of the Thatched Cottage and watching calfes or lambs cavorting about, buzzards circling, sqirrels, pheasants or even a fox going about their business. A bridleway runs straight past our farm yard and joins up with the Two Moors Way. Coming from Dulverton, Sustrans Cycle Route No 3 goes past our land and joins the open moor within 1 mile. You can actually travel some distance without meeting anyone or seeing a vehicle. You will notice how quiet life is here. But if you are looking for some bustle, its not too far either: Dulverton, 'Gate to Exmoor', South Molton, especially on market day, Tarr Steps.
