Set in a house built from local stone, this refined B&B is a 3-minute walk from the Ryedale Folk Museum in the centre of this tourist-magnet village on the north York moors. It's 14.7 miles from Malton railway station.
All 7 classic rooms feature exposed beams and have en suite bathrooms, TVs with DVD players, tea and coffeemaking facilities, plus local chocolates and biscuits. Some add 4-poster beds, and a family room adds space for an extra bed.
