The Casa Deep woods is a jungle getaway located within the Mudumalai Forest, a subtropical nature reserve with teak and sandalwood forests and home to the Indian Tiger and Asiatic elephant. Set against the backdrop of the Nilgiri mountain rangeThe resort offers nature treks, wildlife safaris, mountain biking and sight seeing tours to Ooty & Coonoor. The resort has been built around the trees, on the banks of a jungle stream. Added attractions here include barbeques by the stream and night safaris. The resort amenities include wildlife library, conference facilities, 24-hour coffee shop/bar, restaurant, doctor on call, laundry, travel desk and recreation room. Accommodation includes nine studio type rooms, 2 luxury rooms and one suite. The rooms feature al fresco baths, bathtubs, and 24 hour hot & cold water.
