Chestnut Villa was originally built in 1904, as a Coaching Inn and is situated on the edge of the picturesque 'honeypot' village of Grasmere. Under new management, the owners are refurbishing bringing a fresh decor and relaxed, calm atmosphere. Guests are greeted with a warm welcome and are encouraged to come and go as they please with their own key. We wish for you to get the very best from your stay and will happily advise on what to do and where to go should you need to know. The BandB has a large and comfortable visitors lounge and a spacious dining room. With fruit, cereal, juice and a full English', we don't want you to leave hungry and strive for all our food to be clean, tasty and healthy. All ingredients are sourced locally wherever possible - further details on dining can be seen on the website. If you have any special requests or requirements please let us know. Chestnut Villa has a total of seven en-suite rooms with either a shower or bath (with hand shower). All rooms come with teacoffee facilities, new flat screen digital TV's (some with dvd's), toiletries and hair driers. Free WiFi covers the building All the rooms are comfortable and cosy, and they all offer panoramic views of the surrounding fells and countryside.
