The Coondooroopa Cove is a fully self contained house, offering peace, tranquility and amazing water views, on Macleay Island, a sub tropical island set in the pristine waters of the Moreton Bay Marine Park. The living area is open plan with a brand new white and black granite kitchen that is a delight to cook in and still enjoy what is happening in the lounge and dining areas. This entire area has water views and opens onto the verandah and deck that features a huge table, BBQ and gardens which run all the way down to the waters edge. There are 2 bedrooms and the main features water views, a queen size bed, large walk in robe and access to the two way bathroom. The second bedroom has water views, 2 single beds, built in robes and access to the two way bathroom. Macleay Island is sheltered in the vast marine park of Moreton Bay. It is rich in native flora and fauna, edged with mangrove foreshores and sandy beaches, providing respite from the outside world. An eco-tourism dream and bird watchers nirvana, the island offers a variety of experiences. To reach the island you catch a water taxi or vehicle barge from the seaside suburb of Redland Bay. The Water taxi is located at the southern end of Banana Street and it takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Macleay Island. The Vehicle Barge to Macleay Island is approximately an hour from both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It is located at Weinham Street and will take approximately 40 minutes to get to the island.
