Downtown East is very popular with the local population as it features the newest and largest water themed park, Wild Wild Wet (closed on Tuesdays for maintainence). The resort provides doorstep access to the water park and the beach. Also the Escape Theme Park with adventure rides is open on weekends an local school holidays. This resort is highly recommend for families with children. AC 06/04 The resort feature little chalets and two storied buildings spread out with plenty of BBQ pits in-between. The chalet are separated from the public using the water themed part via a secured guardpost. Located in the Eastern part of the island within a residential district. The resort is about 10 minutes walk to the beach. The main draw to stay here is Singapore's newest and largest water theme park, Wild Wild Wet. On weekends and local school holidays, the Escape Theme Park complements the draw with exciting rides and games.
