Selected by the AA as One of Britain's Best in 2011. The Pines at Eastleigh is a Georgian Country House set in 7 hill-top acres with views over open countryside to Lundy Island. Log-fires, king-size beds, garden room bar with library, maps and a warm welcome await our guests in this award winning country house. Breakfast can be served in your suite or in the dining room where a log fire burns on dewy early mornings, and the view from the window stretches from Hartland Point to Lundy Island over the little white town of Bideford. Food is individually prepared using home produced and locally sourced ingredients: fruit from the garden, home made yoghurt and prize-winning local meats. Please tell us if you follow a special diet. Our Cottage Suites offer flexibilty and privacy being totally self-contained. They have sitting rooms, some with log fires; all have dining areas and fully equipped galley kitchens. The cottage suites have daily maid service. The Pines is a non-smoking establishment. We are only able to accommodate children over 11 years. Pets are welcome by arrangement. We can help you organise cycling on the Tarka Trail, cliff walking, surfing, canoeing, and other water sports. There is a different beach for each day of your holiday within easy reach; Dartmoor and Exmoor to explore, gardens at RHS Rosemoor and Tapeley as well as the fishing villages of Clovelly and Appledore. Whether you choose a traditional pub like our local Westleigh Inn, or speciality seafood at Instow - eating in North Devon is reassuringly inexpensive. Let us know what you like and we'll provide a gastronomic tour; everything is close at hand. Payment may be made by Debit Card or Cash. A 3% charge is made for Credit Card payment.
