Nestled along a lake in the De Hoop Nature Reserve, this relaxed, sprawling lodge is 11 km from the town of Skipskop.
Basic, round thatched-roof huts offer shared bathrooms and BBQ grills. Cottages feature country-style decor, minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Upgraded units add kitchens, BBQ grills and/or lake views. An elegant 4-bedroom house is also available. There's no air-conditioning.
There's a restaurant, an outdoor pool and a spa, plus seasonal kids' programmes. Activities such as guided hikes, whale watching, and quad and mountain biking are offered (fee). Caravan grounds and campsites are also available.
