Emiily Lodge is a 1. 5 acre property nestled amidst an old oak forest. A number of adventure activities available like rock climbing, rappelling, balling, boating and yachting located close by via car or walking distance. There are in-house yoga and meditation facilities available. Emiily Lodge is a great place to relax , read, paint, write or simply 'just laze around', on one hand, to experience the hustle and bustle of a busy tourist town.
The property offers 7 boutique rooms all steeped in history as this is the former home of Dr. Stevens. Emiily Lodge was constructed in 1864 and named after doctor Stevens daughter. The rooms have been renovated to meet the level of a modern hotel and bathrooms are clean and modern, designed to meet the standard of a contemporary international traveler.
Emiily Lodge has an outdoor restaurant under the shades of the ancient oak trees that surround the property. It is an old colonial era building and although renovated its character has been maintained and saved. The walls adorn old look with old and new paintings all reminiscent of an era gone by. There is 24-hour room service and intercom facilities. The inside premises of the property are 'strictly' no smoking areas, however , the outside are all smoking areas.
