Welcome to Friary Wood - a splendid house in the country offering Bed and Breakfast accommodation just 8 miles from the centre of Bath, 6 miles from Bradford on Avon 10 miles from Frome, 9 miles from Warminster and only 13 miles from the M4 Junction 18. With the renovations completed at the end of 2008, John and I are now thrilled to be able to welcome you to our home in this truly magnificent country house. We have ten rooms with either en- suite or own private bathroom spread across the upper two floors of the house and each has been designed to make your stay luxurious, relaxing and enjoyable. From the absolutely huge master suite which can sleep up to six and with a bathroom you'll just want to wallow in, to the smaller but no less luxurious top floor rooms that combined also work exceptionally well as comfortable family suites. As soon as you drive through the gates and up to the house, you will feel as though you've escaped to a different world; our house is set in nearly 20 acres of land - the views are just stunning and as far as the eye can see. We have a combination of formal gardens (including an original walled garden), woodland with gorgeous walks down to Iford and Bradford on Avon, a tennis court and outdoor heated swimming pool. And the terrace overlooking the paddocks is an ideal place to sit and enjoy a leisurely breakfast. |
