Set in a 19th-century coaching house, this family-run rural guesthouse is a 21-minute walk from Thorpe Cloud hill and 9.3 miles from Alton Towers.
The traditional rooms, some of which have 4-poster beds and original wood-beamed ceilings, have countryside views, free WiFi, TVs, and tea and coffeemaking facilities. Most have en suite bathrooms, while others have shared facilities.
A complimentary breakfast featuring homemade produce is served in the cosy dining room, while other public areas include a licensed residents' lounge. There's also a garden with a BBQ, a summerhouse and seating, plus a kennel and caged run for dogs (surcharge).
