The Hotel Schlair is located in the center of the thermal spa town of Kremsmunster. 3 star hotels like this one are a great find, as they are small but bursting with character. The Hotel Schlair is right by the walls of Kremsmunster's monastery and there are many golf courses in the surrounding area. Thanks to its central location, Salzburg, Chiemsee, Berchtesgaden and Vienna are no more than 2 hour's drive away. This family-run Kremsmunster hotel is ideally suited for both business travelers and spa goers in search of boutique Kremsmunster accommodation with a homely and familial feel. As well as modern top-notch services, a historic ambiance (the hotel is over 800 years old), and comfortable guest rooms, the hotel has made quite a reputation for itself thanks to the delicious food prepared by co-owner and professional chef Erik Kux-Schlair. Another feature which warms guests hearts is the dry heat sauna and 400 year old tavern complete with open fire, perfect for winter evenings.
