Set on a working farm and private game reserve in the KwaZulu-Natal South Midlands, this remote, laid-back lodge is 15 km from the R603 road.
Featuring thatched roofs and covered verandahs with seating, the warmly decorated, brick-walled chalets offer tea and coffeemaking equipment, plus fans (no air-conditioning) and en suite bathrooms with showers. Some add sofabeds, tubs and/or dining tables. A secluded house has 7 simply furnished bedrooms, a full kitchen and BBQ grills.
Breakfast served in a rustic-chic dining room/bar is complimentary for chalet guests; dinner is available on request (fee). There's also a wellness spa and an outdoor pool.
