Set on a 1,300-hectare horse and sheep farm at the foot of the Drakensberg mountains, this relaxed hostel is 11 km from Underberg.
The spartan 4- and 6-bed mixed dorms have shared bathrooms. There are also basic private rooms, some with en suite bathrooms. The round thatched-roof huts sleep up to 6 people, and have kitchens and loft bedrooms. There's also a log cabin sleeping up to 22 guests, which has 2 shared bathrooms and a kitchen. A campsite is available.
Meals are available. There's a shared lounge and self-service bar, a kitchen and BBQ facilities. Activities include horseriding, hiking, mountain biking and canoeing. Parking is free.
