Situated on the beach front in Milnerton and overlooking Table Bay, the Lagoon Beach is 8 km's from the popular V&A Waterfront and 25 km's the airport. It has good access to the roads leading to the winelands.
A superb 4* superior hotel, the Lagoon beach has breathtaking views of Robben Island and the whole of the Cape Town city bowl with the spectacular Table Mountain as a backdrop. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one at the front of the hotel and one on the roof top. Guests have direct access to the beautiful beach front and sun beds and umbrellas are available around the pool and sunbathing terrace. The endless list of hotel facilities include retail shops, an Irish pub, business lounge, parking, currency exchange, library, baby sitting service and an excellent health spa and fitness centre.
A modern building the Lagoon beach is just 3 storeys tall with windows dominating the white exterior.
The hotel has an excellent restaurant overlooking Table Bay and Cape Town. There is a first class choice of international and local cuisine as well as a fine wine list. The restaurant is bright with large glass windows/sliding doors leading out to the beach front terrace. The tables and chairs are modern in design and give the restaurant a fresh contemporary feel.
The large lobby is slick and minimalist in design with the long reception desk directly in front of you as you enter. To the left is the hotel bar and restaurant and a glass lift that rises into the open high ceiling lobby space. There is art on the walls and a seating area for guests.
These modern, sleek and stylish rooms all have views of the Atlantic Ocean and are en-suite with separate bath and shower - a hair dryer is provided. The spacious rooms have air-con, internet connection, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, safe, mini-bar, radio and alarm clock and tea/coffee making facilities. There is 24 hour room service.
