This upmarket hotel occupies an 1850 Art Nouveau hunting lodge and farmhouse annex in the Gosautal region, just off Highway 166, 5.5 km from the Hornbahn Russbach ski lift and 15 km from the picturesque village of Hallstaat.
All the elegant rooms and suites have free Wi-Fi and TVs, and some have balconies. Upgraded annex suites have kitchenettes.
A free cold breakfast buffet is served in a refined bar/restaurant, which has its own garden and a regional Salzkammergut menu. There's also a sauna, a steam bath and an outdoor, heated pool (seasonal). A ski shuttle is available on request, and parking is provided at no charge.
