In the rural foothills of Mount Hakone, this laid-back hot spring hotel is a 9-minute walk from Kowakidani train station, 11 minutes walk from Hakone Open-Air Museum and 9 km from Lake Ashi.
Low-key rooms come with flat-screen TVs, sofas and minifridges, along with tea and coffeemaking equipment; some have tatami floors and futons.
