On a 2,600 acre nature preserve, this stately stone hotel dating back to the 1800's is 7 miles from downtown Pembroke and 10 miles from Cascade Falls.
The sophisticated rooms with rustic details feature free WiFi (but no TVs); suites add whirlpool tubs and living rooms. Private houses have vaulted ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces and patios, plus kitchens and dining areas. Cottages and cabins add fireplaces, sunset views and/or wraparound porches.
