This colourful resort set in tropical gardens on the edge of the Daintree Rainforest is 3 km from Cape Tribulation beach.
The bare-bones room and cabin feature beds hand-crafted from local wood, louvred glass windows for cooling, plus free Wi-Fi, tea and coffeemaking facilities. The cabin has a private outdoor bathroom. There is also a treehouse featuring an open-air composting toilet, an outdoor shower, solar electricity and basic kitchen facilities.
The resort serves free continental breakfast in the main house (for room and cabin guests only). Other amenities include a fish pond, a gazebo and a sculpture trail through the rainforest.
