Residence La Cordee is a Chamonix-Mont-Blanc resort hotel located on the eastern edge of France. Sitting at the foot of the country's famous Mont Blanc, along the borders of Switzerland and Italy, this hotel features its own lake, and offers stunning views of this pinnacled mountain and neighboring Alps. Built in 1989 and renovated in 2006, the hotel features a chalet-style exterior with beautiful, modern interior design. The stylish and streamlined conference room features light, hardwood floors and exposed wood beam ceilings. The hotel's delightful restaurant surrounds you in beautiful woodwork, including solid wood tables and chairs. Year-round you can go for a swim in the attractively tiled indoor swimming pool, bathed in white with white tiles, white ceilings, and white lounge chairs. A sauna provides a place to work up a sweat afterward. Beyond the resort, you can go skiing or snowboarding, or perhaps accompany a guide through glaciers, then stop to admire the views from above; or you can admire the views while paragliding, or maybe remain below and get in a game of golf.
