Set in a landmark building dating to 1939, this rustic lodge is set in Starved Rock State Park. It's 3.4 miles from Deer Park Country Club and 9 miles from the intersection of I-80 and I-39.
Warm rooms, some with knotty pine paneling, have coffeemakers and free Wi-Fi. Most have flat-screens and DVD players. Cabins add fireplaces; some have no TVs.
Amenities include a woodsy restaurant, a cafe, and a bar, plus live entertainment. There's also an indoor pool, a children's pool, saunas and a hot tub, as well as event space and access to hiking trails.
