The highlight of any stay at Tangalooma is the opportunity to interact closely with the marine wildlife of Moreton Bay. Each evening, a pod of wild bottlenose dolphins eagerly swim up to the beach where they are hand fed by our Dolphin Care Team and resort guests. All overnight guests have the opportunity to wade into the water and hand feed these amazing creatures. Whether you are feeding the dolphins or simply watching from the jetty, the experience is unforgettable.

Located in the Moreton Bay and Islands region, visitors can indulge in a wide range of adventure or nature based tours and activities on offer. The resorts Desert Safari tour allows guests to participate in the thrilling sport of sand tobogganing down a 70 metre high sand dune - its exhilarating fun! Other action packed things to do include the adrenalin filled ATV quad bike tour, jet ski tour, parasailing and helicopter joy flights just to name a few. Tangaloomas Dugong Eco Cruise allows resort guests to journey south along the western coastline of Moreton Island in search for dugongs, dolphins, turtles, rays and a wide variety of bird life. The resort features a variety of different dining options that can cater for any budget, including Tursiops Buffet Restaurant, The Steakhouse, and Chefs ala carte dining; which features a range of local seafood prepared in gourmet dishes. Other casual dining options include the Beach Caf and Coffee Shop, as well as a resort shop

From June through to October, visitors can partake in the resorts Whale Watching Cruise. Board Tangaloomas catamaran to see these majestic humpback whales in their natural environment as part of the awe-inspiring day tour. The cruise includes a light lunch and commentary by a qualified Marine Biologist.

The wide range of accommodation available allows the Resort to cater to a variety of guests, including families, couples, professionals and travelers of any age. PLEASE NOTE:

Launch transfers are complusory and an additional cost $75 return per adult and $40 return per child (3-14 years) payable at the resort directly.

You will automatically be booked on the 10.00am launch ex Holt Street Wharf, Pinkenba, Brisbane on the day of arrival and the 16.00 return launch ex Resort on day of departure. If you would like an alternative time this can be arranged by contacting the Resort directly.
