Mary and Hadyn invite you to stay in their beautiful period cottages in the historic village of Coalbrookdale. Whether you are looking for self catering holiday accommodation or business lets, Tea Kettle Row offers you a warm and friendly welcome. The cottages were built in 1746 by the Darby family to provide homes for managers at the foundry. Each have two bedrooms, number 33 sleeps six people, while number 35 is slighly smaller and is ideal for four. Both are fully furnished with gas central heating - a real home from home. The cottages also boast log fires in the lounge and traditional features such as oak beams. The kitchen is well equiped with all the utensils you need, gas cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and the larger cottage has a dishwasher. Both have a separate dining room. This tranquil haven also provides a lawned garden with bbq, picnic tables and children's play area as well as private off road parking. You can also enjoy the rare opportunity to watch badgers feeding in the rear garden in the evening. Coalbrookdale is the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. The village has maintained much of the heritage and the Museum of Iron and Enginuity are a two minute walk away. Blists Hill Victorian Village, the Coalport China museum and Jackfield Tile museum are just five minutes away in the car. There are also two local pubs serving excellent food and real ales.
