This luxury bed & breakfast is set on the beachfront of sub tropical Macleay Island in the pristine waters of the Moreton Bay Marine Park. A wonderful haven to escape to with stunning water views and spectacular sunsets. There are 3 luxurious queen-size bedrooms each with beautifully appointed ensuites. The 4th bedroom is adaptable with either a king-size bed or 2 singles. This room is disabled friendly with a huge ensuite. All rooms have private entrances leading to the verandah and garden areas. A peaceful guest lounge, dining area with kitchenette, outdoor BBQ areas and lots of private areas in the delightful landscaped gardens available for relaxing. Breakfasts is included and are a 3 course gourmet delight. (Special dietary needs can be catered for). Guests also receive complimentary use of sea kayaks, private jetty, bicycles, fishing equipment, dinghy, golf clubs, and a DVD/Video library. We are rich in native flora and fauna, edged with mangrove foreshores and sandy beaches, providing respite from the outside world. An eco-tourism dream and bird watchers nirvana, the island offers a variety of experiences. The calm waters are great for swimming, fishing, sea kayaking and snorkeling. To reach the island you catch a water taxi or vehicle barge from the seaside suburb of Redland Bay. The Water taxi is located at the southern end of Banana St and it takes approximately 15 minutes to reach Macleay Island.
