This stately 1895 hunting lodge with sweeping views of the North Sea has been a hotel since 1928; it's 6.3 miles from the Skye Museum of Island Life and 13.4 miles from Uig ferry port.
The upscale rooms have a stately ambiance (2 have 4-poster beds) and some have water views, as well as either claw-foot or free-standing baths. All have free Wi-Fi and chocolates, plus TVs with premium channels. There's also a separate cottage.
