Elegant five-star en-suite B&B accommodation in an idyllic position ~ on the North Wales Coast, at the edge of Snowdonia, near the University City of Bangor, facing the Isle of Anglesey across the Menai Straits and close to Llandudno and Conwy Valley. Nestling between 3000ft mountains and the coast The Grove enjoys a central position ~ with easy access to the North Wales Path (including a Roman Road), the Carneddau Mountains of Snowdonia, the shoreline (with several nature reserves) looking out at the mouth of the Menai Straits, Ynys Seiriol (Puffin Island) and Y Gogarth (the Great Orme headland in Llandudno (The Queen of Welsh Resorts ~ easy to get to along the very scenic coastal part of the A55). Nearby are the North Wales Cycle Route and many golf courses (around 50 within an hour), castles, stately homes and gardens, narrow gauge railways, marinas, and fishing opportunities. Built in the Edwardian Period, this detached residence retains a wealth of original character. Following major refurbishment it now also offers a high level of modern comforts.
