Originally built in 1550 as the manor house of Burnham Westgate, this plush boutique hotel is 2.5 miles from the coast and 6 miles from Wells-next-the-Sea.
The luxurious, individually decorated rooms are split between the manor and the courtyard wing and have flat-screen TVs, Egyptian sheets and designer toiletries. Some have exposed beams, 4-poster beds or sitting areas.
