This Italianate style 1859 plantation manor-turned-inn is 4.6 miles from James Madison's Montpelier home and 30 miles from Shenandoah National Park.
The rooms have en suite bathrooms, fireplaces and free WiFi; some add clawfoot or whirlpool tubs. Suites add balconies or TVs. There's also a private school house-turned-cottage with a kitchen.
