This stately 1922 Museum District bed-and-breakfast overlooking the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts is a 13-minute walk from the shops and restaurants of Carytown.
The 2 homey but elegant multi-room suites are decorated with wood antiques and contemporary accents. They have private bathrooms (with marble floors and clawfoot tubs) and feature writing desks, free WiFi, flat-screen HDTVs and living rooms. Some add fireplaces, pocket doors and private access to a balcony. The private cottage adds a garden patio.
Breakfast is homemade with locally sourced ingredients; plus, wine and cheese is served in the evening and there's free on-site parking.
