The Willows offers self-catering holiday accommodation in Wooler, a small market town known as the Gateway to the Cheviots in Northumberland. Northumberland is a county rich in history, with a wide range of things to do and see. From the wilds of The Cheviot Hills to Northumberland National Park - ideal for walkers, cyclists and nature lovers to attractions like The Alnwick Garden. Wooler is only 15 miles from the spectacular Northumbrian coastline making it an ideal base to visit Bamburgh, Holy Island and more. We offer a recently developed period town house located in a quiet corner of Wooler. Well appointed to retain character detail, combined with the best in modern luxury, Stewart House and West House are the ideal location for a relaxing break in this wonderful region. West House and Stewart House are set in 2 individual wings of an elegant town house situated on the quiet edge of Wooler village, but still very convenient and close to cafes, bistros, pubs and shops. The house has been sympathetically developed from the ground up to provide elegant and comfortable accommodation which retains the character of an old building coupled with all the best in modern amenities and appliances. Wooler is a traditional market town located in the north of Northumberland, England's most northern county. Situated on the edge of Northumberland National Park, Wooler is often known as, The Gateway to the Cheviots because of its proximity to the wild hills which separate England from Scotland. Northumberland today is a beautiful, tranquil place. However, this peace and serenity were not always commonplace. Due to its location as a border county between England and Scotland, Northumberland was often a fractious place with many areas of, Debatable Lands. We also offer a truly unspoilt camping site situated just a mile outside of Wooler - but a world away from the hustle and bustle of modern life. For 1 week bookings the changeover day is a Saturday.
