Set in a 19th-century farmhouse and restored outbuildings on 160 acres, this upmarket hotel is 3 miles from the Green Mountain National Forest and 16 miles from the Stratton Mountain Resort ski area.
The TV-free, country-chic rooms feature antiques, writing desks and sitting areas, plus complimentary Wi-Fi and designer toiletries. Suites and upgraded rooms add whirlpool tubs, porches, window seats and/or fireplaces. A posh cottage adds a kitchen.
