Set in an 1820s mansion with a stone and timber exterior, this modern hostel is on the shore of Wastwater Lake. It's also 4.6 miles from Scafell Pike mountain, and 8.8 miles from Muncaster Castle.
Shared single-sex dorms and private rooms have basic decor and sinks. Dorms have shared bathrooms; private rooms have en suite bathrooms.
